New townhouses
A pair of new townhouses on the site of some existing garages in a Conservation Area.
What did DZ do?
We have had lengthy negotiations with the Planning & Conservation Departments with regard to developing this site and after some false starts have settles at this scheme of a pair of modern townhouses. We prepared all sketch designs and made the full planning application.
Design issues
Being a conservation area and between two distinctive Edwardian buildings made this a difficult scheme. The design evolved into the modern scheme illustrated as a direct response to the constraints imposed by the site and its context.
