Extensions are becoming ever more popular as people look to adapt their houses to changing lifestyles and family needs. Current trends tend to be towards:

Open plan kitchen/dining rooms across the back of the house
Roof terraces with structural glass balustrades
Full width openings with folding/sliding or large patio doors
Modern clean-lined designs with combinations of render and cedar cladding
Lots of glazing, large rooflights and interesting lighting features
Side infill extensions to Victorian properties with either a glass roof or several rooflights.

We are preparing designs incorporating all of these elements day in and day out. As such we are constantly researching relevant products and techniques and developing libraries of standard details which are tried and trusted.

In addition to the current trends, we have prepared all sorts of different designs to suit a variety of styles and purposes. At your initial consultation our designer will listen to your requirements, assess the existing building and only then of the best approach to take. They will also discuss planning issues, costs and building programmes.
