Since Design Zone was established in 2005 to specialise in domestic extensions and conversions, we have completed over 300 projects. These range from small infill extensions to schemes for new build flats and houses.

Applications

Most schemes will require some from of Local Authority application and we have extensive experience in dealing with these.

Extensions

Design Zone is constantly involved in a number of residential extension schemes, and our experience of these shcemes gives us a powerful insight into extending your home to suit changing lifestyles and family needs.

Loft conversions

Loft conversions can be the quickest and cheapest way to add space to your property, and there are many compelling reasons to conside using Design Zone to help successfully achieve your conversion.

Space planning

Many schemes succeed on the quality of space planning. From the internal reorganisation of a residential home to the subdivision of a property into several flats, space planning requires an enormous amount of care and attention to detail.

Large schemes

Design Zone frequently works on larger schemes, such as blocks of flats or larger site development. The largest so far was the successful planning application for 65 new flats in Worthing, undertaken for Crest Nicholson.

Visualisations

Effective computer visualisations and artists impressions can help produce powerful supporting arguments for planning applications and sales materials. Design Zone can produce a range of visualisations from watercolour illustrations to full video animations.
