Energy saving measures

Almost half of the UK's carbon dioxide emissions come from energy we use every day - much of it at home. The Party Wall Act

Anyone considering undertaking works which may involve their boundaries or party walls needs to understand the Party Wall Act. It provides a framework for preventing and resolving disputes in relation to party walls, boundary walls and excavations near neighbouring buildings. Anyone intending to carry out work (anywhere in England and Wales) of the kinds described in the Act must give Adjoining Owners notice of their intentions.
